Your goals

To train high-performing managers capable of addressing and coordinating the complex challenges involved in public administration management. Year 1 (Bac+4): a common core in International Relations Year 2 (Bac+5): a specialization in European and International Public Affairs Management Throughout the program, you will explore key topics such as: The internationalization of trade and exchanges Economic and legal regulation Sustainable development challenges European integration The modernization and digital transformation of public services Human resources policies Public service delegation and governance Enter a comprehensive and career-oriented program, designed to prepare you for international careers in both the public and private sectors. The MSc in European and International Public Affairs Management is offered across our three ILERI campuses: Lyon, Paris, and Bordeaux.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES & CONTENT

Public affairs management involves overseeing and directing projects and initiatives in the public sector, often in collaboration with private entities, to achieve objectives of general interest. This field requires the coordination of financial, human, and institutional resources while ensuring compliance with national and international legislative and regulatory frameworks. Expertise in strategic analysis, international relations, partnership management, and the ability to influence and negotiate in complex political environments is essential.

Managing Public Projects in National and International Contexts: Planning, coordinating, and executing public projects while considering political and legislative specificities at national and international levels.
Handling Public-Private Partnerships: Facilitating effective collaboration between public and private sectors for the funding and implementation of public-interest projects.
Securing European and International Funding: Identifying and acquiring financial resources from European and international institutions for public project development.
Analyzing Institutional and Economic Challenges in the Public Sector: Understanding and evaluating institutional and economic dynamics that influence public policies.
Leading Intercultural Teams on International Projects: Coordinating teams from diverse cultural backgrounds to successfully implement international projects.
Mastering Institutional Communication and Lobbying Tools: Using communication and influence strategies to advocate for interests within public and political institutions.
Anticipating and Managing Cybersecurity and Crisis Risks: Identifying potential risks and implementing crisis management plans to safeguard projects against digital and institutional threats.
